About the event

A musical show that illustrates the history of the bolero from its creation in Santiago de Cuba in the late 19th century -within the framework of the Cuban Traditional Trova - to the emergence of the 'bolero feeling' in the 1940s. Its approach, both educational and entertaining, combines music, singing, and text with video and photo projections from the era. The music is arranged and recorded specifically for this project by members of the Septeto Nacional Ignacio Piñeiro at the historic EGREM studios in Havana. ESP/CAT
