One more year, and as is tradition, the Orquestra de Cambra Illa de Menorca returns to the Teatre des Born to celebrate New Year's Eve under the direction of Francesc Prat. This concert promises to be a fascinating musical journey, where the magic of Tchaikovsky meets the festive joy of Johann Strauss II, culminating in the traditional waltzes and polkas of the Strauss family. The program will feature works such as Georges Bizet's Carmen Suite, Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt, Suite No. 1, and Tchaikovsky pieces like 'Swan Lake,' alongside Strauss II's waltzes and polkas such as 'The Blue Danube' and 'Vive la Hongrie!'.
