About the event
The Menorca Doc Fest pays tribute to Francesc (Frank) Adrover y Mercadal (1856-1924), a Menorcan photographer who was an international pioneer in photography and a precursor of modern photography in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A conference will be held at the Thalassa center in Es Castell on September 25th at 8:00 PM, given by photo-historian Salvador Tió Sauleda. This event is part of the 8th edition of the documentary film and photography festival. Admission is free. As a parallel activity, the photographic exhibition 'Retrospectiva d’un poble IV' will be presented in Es Mercadal, from September 25th to October 18th.
