About the event
What happens when a group of people imagines the same story, but each interprets it in their own way? In this workshop, we'll build a story together: who the protagonist is, where they are, and what happens to them. From there, each participant will create their own visual version in a small accordion-style album. The characters, settings, emotions, colors, and ending will be up to you: you decide what happened next. We'll discover that there's no single right way to illustrate a story.
Practical information:
Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes
Age: 10 years and up
Groups: 15 (maximum)
Technique: drawing and manual painting
Each participant will take home their own mini illustrated album
What will we do?
Discover the relationship between narrative and illustration
Work on composition, point of view, shots, and expressing emotions
Invent and illustrate our own ending
Share creations and compare different versions
