About the event
A game session to learn and practice Caixó (jaquet), a traditional Menorcan game similar to backgammon. The activity will take place in the Cloister of the Museu de Menorca in Maó on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Caixó is played with a backgammon board and is still practiced in homes, casinos, and bars on the island. The estimated duration is 2 hours, and it is taught in Catalan. Sign language interpretation (LSC) can be requested one week in advance. Admission is free and requires prior registration starting November 20, 2026, either via a form or by calling 971 350 955. This is an activity for all audiences.
