About the event
A collective journey that will make us question our own way of walking. A scenic journey – literal and metaphorical – through the streets, paths, and landscapes of the space that hosts us, as well as through the memory of the people who inhabit it. Ana, Pere, and Karla arrive in Es Mercadal to generate connections with the community, the environment, its history, and its affections. They trace a path that will be walked in company. What map do we want to draw? What world do we want to live in? What seas and rivers do we want? What actions can we take? To talk about walking is to talk about today. To talk about the path is to talk about yesterday. To talk about the walker is to talk about ourselves. This work is a look back and, at the same time, a pause to narrate the world that hosts us today.
