About the event
Screening of the film 'A la cara' by Javier Marco (2025). It's part of the first semester of the 2026/2027 Cinema Cycle at Cine Club. The Spanish film, lasting 95 minutes, features performances by Manolo Solo, Sonia Almarcha, Roberto Álamo, and Helena Zumel, among others. The synopsis tells the story of Pedro, who upon opening the door to a potential flatmate, meets Lina, a famous television presenter. Lina isn't interested in the room; she only wants Pedro to repeat aloud a hateful message she wrote to him on social media. What begins as a violent clash transforms into a strange cohabitation, where both become uncomfortable mirrors of each other. Forced to confront their own demons, Pedro and Lina discover that these demons unite them more than they realize.
