About the event
The Teatre des Born in Ciutadella presents 'Llogatera', a play by Paco Gámez directed by Rubén de Eguía. This bitter comedy narrates the passionate and frantic journey of a young woman who, faced with modern life, is forced to leave her 38 m² home. Through her interactions with various characters—her mother, a lover, the landlord, a student, the real estate agent, the lifeguard, and a militiaman—social and personal pressures are explored. The play addresses themes such as loneliness, precariousness, and the fear of the future, inviting reflection on how to resist a system that pushes towards inaction. With a duration of 80 minutes, its careful aesthetic and scenic originality make it an essential cultural event for those seeking critical and reflective theatre about contemporary life.
