The Teatre des Born presents 'I Was Born in a Bean Furrow' by the company Almealera, winner of the FETEN Award 2026. This theatrical piece invites reflection on the deep connection between the land, food production, and culture, a particularly relevant theme in Menorca. Through the narration of three performers, the rural world is portrayed, addressing crucial questions: why are fewer and fewer people dedicating themselves to farming? What happens to a territory when its food producers disappear? The play emphasizes how the countryside not only provides us with sustenance but has also shaped our landscape, our culture, and our way of life.
