About the event
The Cercle Artístic de Ciutadella organizes the awards ceremony for the 51st Premi Born de Teatre, one of the most prestigious Spanish playwriting competitions. The evening takes place at the Teatre des Born to honor theatre and showcase the winning work of this edition. As a prelude, the acclaimed company La Calòrica presents «Els ocells» (The Birds), a comedy that captivated audiences in 2022. Inspired by Aristophanes, the play offers a sharp and hilarious social and political critique of populism and power, with intelligent humor. This show has received four Critics' Awards and Teatre Barcelona awards. The play is recommended for ages 14 and up, and tickets range from €12 to €28.
