About the event
Presentation of the second edition of "Cançons populars menorquines" by Francesc Camps i Mercadal, at the Institut Menorquí d’Estudis (IME) in Maó. This work, a collection of Menorca's popular memory, is a reissue of the 1987 edition, enriched with a new prologue by Xavier Moll. The volume faithfully reproduces the sheet music of the songs that Francesc Camps originally presented in 1911. The presentation will be led by Xavier Moll, who has acted as the work's curator and is the author of the detailed musicological study accompanying it. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 15th at 7:30 PM at the IME headquarters.
