About the event
The exhibition "25 years rehabilitation Teatre Principal de Maó" celebrates the 25th anniversary of the reopening of this emblematic theatre in 2001. The Sala de Cultura Sant Antoni in Maó hosts this photographic exhibition that documents the meticulous transformation process of the building, carried out between 1996 and 2001 under the direction of architects Domingo Enric and Joan J. Gomila. The exhibition offers a deep insight into the work done to adapt this historic theatre to the demands of the 21st century, preserving its essence, and is presented as a journey through the recent history of a cultural landmark of Maó and Menorca. The exhibition can be visited from September 18th to October 10th, 2026, with the following opening hours: Tuesdays to Thursdays from 18:00 to 21:00; Fridays from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00; and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
