Experience the acclaimed Gustav Lundgren Trio, featuring one of Europe's most celebrated jazz guitarists, Gustav Lundgren. Born in Stockholm in 1980, Lundgren began his international career at 19, touring 27 countries before his thirtieth birthday. His prolific output includes over 1200 recorded songs and more than 100 million Spotify streams. His viral gypsy jazz rendition of "Monsters, Inc" has captivated audiences with over 6 billion views on TikTok. Renowned guitarists like John Scofield, Mike Stern, and George Benson have lauded his distinctive style. Lundgren's impressive list of collaborators spans genres and includes Jorge Rossy, Jimmy Rosenberg, Chris Cheek, Doug Weiss, Antoine Boyer, The Swedish House Mafia, Kleerup, Rick Margitza, Gabriel Grossi, and Anne Sofie von Otter. The trio is completed by Juan Pablo Balcázar on double bass and Anton Jarl on drums. Presented as part of the Jazz Es Claustre 23 program.
